BASIC

“Good Dog” Proofread
Just need a once-over before you send your book out into the world? Select this single-round proofread. We add value by performing a character-by-character check as well as catching any big content errors, like redundant words, inaccuracies, and other “musts” that get between your readers and your message. Your final product will be a printer-ready manuscript that meets industry standards. Per-word price, Tier 1 only: $0.02. 

ADVANCED

“Bad Dog” Two-Task Revision
This is the editing package for writers who have a solid narrative but haven’t mastered grammar, spelling, or punctuation yet—or vice versa. Mix and match Task 1 addresses either those structural errors or content glitches, and Task 2 provides either a second copyedit or a final proofread as described above. Mix and match your choice of two: content edit, copyedit, and/or proofread. Readers will enjoy more clarity and polish in the finished product. Per-word price: Per-word price, Tier 1, $0.03; Tier 2, $0.04. 

COMPREHENSIVE

“The Rescue” Three-Task Revision
If something is missing from your story or nonfiction book, choose this full-service revision that addresses form and content. Task 1 will find and fix loose narrative ends. Task 2 will improve word choice and nab surface errors, and Task 3 will add shine with that final proofread that every book should have. Per-word price: Per-word price, Tier 1, $0.05; Tier 2, $0.06.

Please meet these specifications before sending:

  • Completed book manuscripts only of 25,000 words or more; include your total word count
  • File format must be a recent version Microsoft Word
  • Text only; please remove any images before sending
  • Select a tier and level of service or request a recommendation
  • Fiction or nonfiction welcome
  • Email with genre and total word count to the link below
  • Submissions that do not meet these specs will not be considered. Thanks for your understanding!
